Think of the Raider EVO as a crown with eight precious jewels, each one engineered so you could focus on nothing but skiing. Discover each one of them here, from the automatic EVO Brake System, to the adjustable release values of both heel and toe pieces.
FEATURES
Entry
Easy Entry System® This system is characterised by a new design of the toe piece. Its innovative geometries allows a smooth step-in, safe and easy to perform on all the latest boots models. Effective even if the soles are worn.
Toe Piece
Up-Hill Hardness Variator System® A multi-position selector between the front lever and the toe lug. By changing the setting of the selector, the stiffness of the toe-lug lock in up-hill mode can be adjusted by increasing pressure on the locking system.
Release Adjustment Toe Piece® The adjustable settings of the heel release are now available for the toe piece! The new toes by ATK Bindings feature the adjustable release values that, combined with the heel piece adjustment, deliver top class stability and a more precise release.
Snow Pack Proof System® No snow debris under the toe part, even with several uphill/downhill transitions. This also avoids snow loads on the toe piece, granting a perfect lightness at any moment.
Heel Piece
CAM Release System® The CAM Release System drives the step-in and the vertical release in case of fall. A special CAM profile is pressed towards the heel pins by a pre-tensioned spring: when the step-in or a release occurs, the pins are forced to follow the CAM profile and provide a precise release.
Magneto Heel Flap System® As ingenious as simple, this magnet system provides the handling and stabilization of the heel flaps. There are different versions of the heel flaps, each one paired with the right binding model.
Elastic Response System® When under stress skis flex and compress. Under these circumstances, thanks to Elastic Response System®, the heel piece can slide towards the tail and repositions itself once normal conditions are restored.
Brakes
EVO Brake System® Thanks to the EVO system, a single hand will be enough to manage the ski brake. By rotating the head of the bindings by 180 degrees, the ski brake activates and the binding switches from uphill to downhill mode. At this point, simply step-in to lock the brake. Similarly, simply rotate again and press the boot heel on the rear plate to lock the ski brake in position and start the ascent.
