Do you live an active lifestyle? On longer bike rides do you value saddle comfort? Then the ergonomic Ergon SF Men Sport Gel saddle should not be missing from your bike! Our new fitness saddle ensures that your cycling enjoyment is not clouded by saddle problems. A perfect balance of sportiness and comfort, the SF Men Sport Gel distributes pressure evenly, which is an added bonus on longer rides. To avoid the common male discomforts and numbness, the anatomically adapted relief channel in the center of the saddle removes pressure from the sensitive soft tissue areas. In addition, the shape and high-quality padding of the saddle are adapted to the position of the upper body during sporty cycling and provides optimum support of the sit bones.
FEATURES
Cushioning
Anatomical Gel Pads - Even Pressure Distribution When cycling, most of your body weight rests on the saddle. To prevent discomfort in the extremely sensitive soft tissue and genital areas, the pressure is distributed as evenly as possible over the sit bones with anatomical gel pads. On longer rides, the gel pads of the SF Men Sport Gel, are noticeably more effective than with the traditional padding found on the SF Men model.
Orthopedic Foam - Comfortable and Robust The padding is made of orthopedic foam, which we have tuned to be ergonomic and extremely durable. Orthopedic foam distributes the pressure much better – so that you feel comfortable at all times, even without traditional padded cycling shorts. The saddle is covered with robust microfiber.
Shape
Deep Relief Channel - No Material. No Pressure. The very deep relief channel, which tapers to the rear, opens out into a hole. This design combines all the advantages of a cut-out saddle without its disadvantages (very stiff saddle shell) and optimally relieves the sensitive soft tissue regions. Too much pressure in this area often leads to discomfort and numbness.
Design
Men Are Different, We Get It In contrast to the female anatomy, men’s pubic tuberosities are much steeper and the pubic symphysis is much higher. We have also taken this significant difference between men and women into account in the development of the saddle.
More Free Space For The Legs The male pelvis is less flexible than that of women. This means that men sit more upright on the saddle and put more strain on the sit bones. Therefore, the transition area between the rear of the saddle and the nose of the saddle can be kept narrow (Y-shape). This gives the legs more free space for pedaling.
