The Mammut Barryvox S Transceiver is a Digital/analog combo avalanche safety device with three antennas. The Barryvox® S offers a large receiving bandwidth with an effective search strip width of 70 meters. The large and simple interface is easy to use, and simple with intuitive operation. Mammut's beacon uses the Smart Search function to provide clear instructions to ensure quick and precise searching in the event of an avalanche while interacting with the actions of other searching rescuers. The Rescue SEND function protects non-searching rescuers. In the event of a secondary avalanche, the device automatically switches to SEND in order to locate buried rescuers. Automatic switching from send to search (Auto Revert): if a rescuer does not move for 4 minutes, we assume a secondary avalanche and the device switches to SEND mode (motion-sensor controlled)
