And the high-quality Mips protective function reduces the forces acting on the head in the event of a fall with rotational impact. With its strong design and detailed solutions, the INMOLD construction sets standards in this price segment. An optimised fit ensures that the CONFIDANT encloses the head fully, producing a comfortable, secure feeling without pressure points. The MarkAIR CHANNEL ventilation system and removable Xdry Performance padding creates a pleasant atmosphere around the head and great temperature regulation. The popular RTS 360° FIT SYSTEM allows wearers to adjust to their size. Removable SoGnar ear pads cover the entire ear and keep it warm without affecting the natural acoustics. Their capacity makes them pressure-free and more comfortable than other helmets on the market, even if you wear in-ear headphones.

Ventilation

Air Jam Climate Control
The AIR JAM CLIMATE CONTROL allows for regulation of the air flow using a waterproof, folding interior lining. When the openings are closed, they provide a warm and dry air cushion that is especially helpful in keeping the head from getting chilled on cold days. On warm days the vents can be unblocked to generate maximum airflow within MarkAIR Channel Ventilation System.

The Map protectors featured in the Map Packs and Map Vests are layered and perforated to allow maximum venting and release of all that built up steam you generate while sending a Kicker line, dropping Pillows, or Racing a course, all while providing level 2 Certified protection.

Construction

Lightweight In-Mold Construction
In-mold is the optimal production technology for making ultra lightweight helmets with a high level of firmness and protection. Injecting EPS (expandable polystyrene)foam directly into the PolyCarbonate shell in one operation created by pressure, heat and steam. PC shell is vacuum formed to the correct shape before in-mold process. It also prevents the shell from separating from the foam liner, and offers better transferring of impact force to the foam insert.

Edge Protection
All MARKER IN-MOLD and HYBRID SHELL helmets have an additional polycarbonate plate on their lower edge for extra protection in the event of a side impact. This also protects the helmet against dings and dents during transport or daily usage. The various models come with 180°, 270° or 360° EDGE PROTECTION.

Other Features

Sognar Removable Earpads
3D-modeled, pressure-free ear cushions that allow different configurations depending on comfort and style preference, head shape and use of glasses or sunglasses. Each configuration offers significantly better hearing than before. Of course, the SoGnar ear pads can also be removed completely.
