An industry-leading splitboard binding that excels in the trees and powder, but is tough enough to handle more complex all-mountain conditions.

The moderate-flexing Spark R&D Arc ST Splitboard Bindings, ideal for freestyle-oriented backcountry riders and lighter bodies, gets a slew of improvements for the new season. The most significant, as indicated by the "ST" in the title, are upgrades almost anwhere there is friction during the skinning action - bindings with the "Smooth Touring" moniker have "overmolded" components with low-friction plastic over an interior metal structure, making them smoother, quieter and more durable. The Asym Rip 'N' Flip highbacks are also re-designed for better fit and functionality, and the pivoting action at the bracket is much improved with "ST" tech added. If your idea of splitboarding is more surf than huck, check out this well thought-out design before you pull the trigger on a binding system.

Cutout baseplate design, medium flex Asym Rip 'N' Flip Highbacks, and a smaller ankle strap with a flex window combine to save valuable grams and deliver a surfy ride down. All Arc ST Bindings incorporate our industry-leading Tesla T1 technology. Our NEW Smooth Touring (ST) Tech is featured on our ST Brackets and ST Whammy Bars. These components utilize a proprietary thermoplastic blend that is molded over the metal part reducing friction, increasing durability, and improving touring efficiency.

Sizing and Setup

We have combined our two sizing charts together into one unisex line. No men's or women's specific bindings, just splitboard bindings for splitboarders.

FEATURES

Tour Mode		Improved ST (Smooth Touring) Mode Spark injection molds a proprietary thermoplastic over existing aluminum or steel parts in a process called "overmolding," reducing friction and improving durabillity. ST (Smooth Touring) Whammy Bars Overmolded plastic blend where the climbing wire meets the baseplate to eliminate stickiness. (Note: not backward compatible with previous Arc, Surge or other older models) ST Touring Brackets Overmolded with low-friction proprietary plastic over and through the bracket holes in the aluminum base - strong, smoother pivoting, and lasts 4 times longer than the old brass bushing. ***** ST Bindings are only compatible with ST Whammy Bars. Likewise, 21/22 and older T1 Bindings are not compatible with ST Whammy Bars and require a standard Whammy Bar. *** ST Bindings are compatible with older Tesla Brackets with brass bushings. Likewise, 21/22 and older T1 Bindings are** compatible with new ST Brackets.
Base Plate		CNC Machined Baseplates CNC machined baseplates remain solid for max stiffness and durability. All of the baseplate side windows have been partially filled to increase durability and strength
Straps		Pillow Line Straps Pillow Line Straps are lightweight, durable, comfortable, waterproof, one-piece molded construction, and made 100% in-house. Surge ST ankle straps are wide and asymmetrical around the boot for incredible all-around support. Toe straps are designed to be used as a toe cap, but also fit nicely as a traditional strap across the top of the boot. Ladders and adjusters are produced in-house with unique thermoplastics that maintain flex over a wide temperature range.

Rail System Mounting		Slide them on and snap the ramp down. Snap the ramp up and slide them off. The most functional way to attach your binding to your board in ride mode. Period. Spark R&D bindings are designed to work with all puck compatible splitboard models.
Touring Hardware		Tesla Snap Ramp T1 System bindings slide sideways into the offset touring bracket and are locked into place with our snap ramp. No pins, no cables, no fiddle factor. Integrated Ibex crampon mounting claws on touring brackets make for quick and easy installation and removal. T1 Heel Rest The T1 Heel Rest catches the climbing wire in the 12° and 18° positions and is specifically designed to hold the T1 Step Locker in place.
