The Surge ST is trusted by professional big line riders and mountain town legends alike. It’s a powerful binding perfect for big days and big lines.

A solid baseplate design, stiffer Asym Rip ‘N’ Flip Highbacks, and more supportive Pillow Line Ankle Straps combine to give riders greater control in demanding terrain. All Surge ST bindings incorporate our industry-leading Tesla T1 technology. Our NEW Smooth Touring (ST) Tech is featured on our ST Brackets and ST Whammy Bars. These components utilize a proprietary thermoplastic blend that is molded over the metal part reducing friction, increasing durability, and improving touring efficiency.

Sizing and Setup

We have combined our two sizing charts together into one unisex line. No men's or women's specific bindings, just splitboard bindings for splitboarders.

FEATURES

Tour Mode		Improved ST (Smooth Touring) Mode Spark injection molds a proprietary thermoplastic over existing aluminum or steel parts in a process called "overmolding," reducing friction and improving durabillity. ST (Smooth Touring) Whammy Bars Overmolded plastic blend where the climbing wire meets the baseplate to eliminate stickiness. (Note: not backward compatible with previous Arc, Surge or other older models) ST Touring Brackets Overmolded with low-friction proprietary plastic over and through the bracket holes in the aluminum base - strong, smoother pivoting, and lasts 4 times longer than the old brass bushing. ***** ST Bindings are only compatible with ST Whammy Bars. Likewise, 21/22 and older T1 Bindings are not compatible with ST Whammy Bars and require a standard Whammy Bar. *** ST Bindings are compatible with older Tesla Brackets with brass bushings. Likewise, 21/22 and older T1 Bindings are** compatible with new ST Brackets.
Base Plate		CNC Machined Baseplates CNC machined baseplates remain solid for max stiffness and durability. All of the baseplate side windows have been partially filled to increase durability and strength
Straps		Pillow Line Straps Pillow Line Straps are lightweight, durable, comfortable, waterproof, one-piece molded construction, and made 100% in-house. Surge ST ankle straps are wide and asymmetrical around the boot for incredible all-around support. Toe straps are designed to be used as a toe cap, but also fit nicely as a traditional strap across the top of the boot. Ladders and adjusters are produced in-house with unique thermoplastics that maintain flex over a wide temperature range.

Rail System Mounting		Slide them on and snap the ramp down. Snap the ramp up and slide them off. The most functional way to attach your binding to your board in ride mode. Period. Spark R&D bindings are designed to work with all puck compatible splitboard models.
Touring Hardware		Tesla Ramp Snap T1 System bindings slide sideways into the offset touring bracket and are locked into place with our snap ramp. No pins, no cables, no fiddle factor. Integrated Ibex crampon mounting claws on touring brackets make for quick and easy installation and removal. T1 Heel Rest The T1 Heel Rest catches the climbing wire in the 12° and 18° positions and is specifically designed to hold the T1 Step Locker in place.
